Is allosome the new trans name for chromosomes?
I didn't want to say sex chromosomes and get anyone too excited. They are sex chromosomes, I forget which number chromosomes in humans. There are other chromosomes too ya know.
They're chromosome pair #46. I have a degree in biology.
With how crazy the trans things are, I wouldn't know if they changed the name, amongst themselves, to be inclusive.
Wow, I don't know, maybe they did :). I'm going by Wikipedia, so maybe they're not saying if that's a recent name change. Interesting.
I don't remember them ever being called anything other than chromosomes back in the day. I also don't trust Wikipedia. So......
