These are illustrations I did for the latest issue of The Great FreeSet email newsletter, entitled What does it really mean to be free? The Great FreeSet offers lots of simple and practical ideas to help us say ‘no’ to the many ways our rights and freedoms are being threatened, and ‘yes’ to taking steps to finding a better way forward together.
We are shielded from a reality that is so grim, awful, and evil that if only 10% catch wind of it across the U.S... THE COUNTRY WILL BURN! Every cop will kill his master! But you Anne are a tremendous uplifting spirit even as we experiene the worst times in the last sixty years. And you will probably be attacked as all of the good in the society has been bled to death. Answering the call of war on you by your own government with a candle and picture of a dove is not a very good defense. We seem to forget that in our own constitution it told us NOT to have standing armies. Not to let despots take power and remove our rights! We are in the post-apocalyptic versions of a totalitarian regime. 220 somethin military coups have been committed in the name of PEACE? FREEDOM? DEMOCRACY? Sure thing. IT IS AFTER THE FACT; we are in the grip of terrorist organization that gives zero fucks about peace or liberty. You only have to look at the manifestations of this power. The policy is to kill for $. A kill for $ complex is in charge! The imprisonment of journalists, the assault on all liberties, the censorship, and totalitarian control of media. The blanket manipulation of industries. The seizure of the the Treasury loaning $ to itself in absurd ponzi schemes. . . death of civlians, experimentation on children internally with drugs and bioweapons for the entire country! Admitted to being gene therapy! BUT I DO LOVE YOUR HEARTFELT CONTRIBUTION TO OUR PLIGHT Anne. But if you couldn't stand it. Wouldn't you do a little fightin back? Maybe a lil? Wouldn't you do a little more than type into a fuckin box! I am here to express the absurdity of showing people the truth...American subjects took the $ for the crimes. They took the hush money. They participate in the destruction of their own society, neighborhoods, families. You cannot pretend that you aren't the killers of the world anymore. There is no other evidence to the contrary. People who work, and live, and operate within a fascist killing machine are fascist killing machinists. We are responsible for the hell unleashed by this demonic plague on the world whether they seized power clandestinely or not. We are no longer the UNITED STATES! THIS IS SOME KIND OF UNITED STASI STATES. The power has been completely and finally lifted from the people at all phases. I have no redress or way to fight back. I HAVE EVEN ATTEMPTED TO HIRE AN ATTORNEY TO FIGHT AGAINST LOCAL CRIMINAL COURTS. THE lawyers you cannot fight this level of despotism. This society is over. It is post-law. It is post-democratic. We are in a totalitarian nightmare. There is no evidence to the contrary in my life. I have 45 years of evidence of betrayal and mistrust, and outright destruction directly imposed on my mother-fuckin family. My fathers life was destroyed by Vietnam and the policies of his era which pale in comparison to living outside of the fascist killing machine today. You cannot operate today without lining the pockets of the murderers in charge. There are no other means of survival. You are firmly in the grips of despotic rulers who control every fuckin movement you make. No one of any intellectual ability who lives in the State of California can express any form of freedom. Our bridges our blocked. Our public properties seized. Even our Lakes are off-limits to us by Federal Cartel criminals who charge $25.00 a day to visit a lake that the same cartel burned to the ground and half-of-my City for profit. California State Troopers murder in my neighborhood and no story ever came out about it. Our local press has been removed. We are already dead living in a fascist afterlife of America. Living in this kind of hell-people find hope in the voice of their captors like Tucker Carlson. Forgetting that he served the people who imprisoned their minds. This American despotism-is not worth living. People refuse to have families or support the death cult cartels. Dollar Generals have replaced our last storefronts. This is a dystopian criminal fantasy land. IT is why our kids are open to being destroyed by legal and illegal means. This murderous cabal of criminals controls both the black market and the legal racket. Once all of the stamps of approval were bought. Once all of media consolidated. Carte blanche murder, mayhem, exploitation on all of the people all of the time from within or without institutional covers was the name of the game. I am not makin' up anything. I am stone cold sober, living a miserable existence full of hate, and rage, remorse, discontent, and sorrow. I know whom killed my country, my neighbors, my friends, and my family. It was the complicit participants in this despotism all around us. I have an upcoming local community event - like a mini-TED talk, coming up this weekend, so between an early bout of hay fever and panic, am desperately trying to put something together (in Japanese) ... and I could not help but to see the tight-rope-walk of my role in your strip.
I suspect maybe 20% will be wearing masks ... though this is Japan, and even pre-covid times could expect that face-gear during this time of the year. Guessing maybe half will have had one mRNA jab, but thanks to the ephemera of alternative media, are beginning to suspect malicious propaganda, especially the older people who still have memories of the government's role in the AIDs scandal. But this is Japan, and rather than speak out to authority, the grapevine of whispering between neighbors is more likely to maximize that alt. media.
Within my 15 minutes on stage, and maybe an hour of post-presentation chat, I will have to entertain as much as inform about local communities as being more trustworthy and sustainable than institutions and their tools of propaganda and compliance ... and do this without alienating those who have taken the blue pill. As a foreigner walking on eggshells, maybe it will just end up as just another song-and-dance, a mirror in which the audience sees only what they want to see.
