im in NY, a county that said NO, but of course we don't matter. it passed overwhelmingly. we will forever have criminals like hochul and cuomo running the asylum. NYC, buffalo, rochester, syracuse and albany, all voted yes. same as all elections in this state, blue cities, red state. what a crock of shit. this state is gone.

I hear you, Asa, and I agree with most of what you said. I'm devastated by this unconstitutional amendment passing, but I can't give up on the state I love. There must be ways to fight this, hard as that may be. The trans lobby worked their asses off to sneak this in. Most people haven't got a clue what they're agreeing to.

ny also passed a law 5-6 years ago that has had devastating results on rural ny. it was some green new deal bs, that basically forced small towns to not being allowed to reject forced solar panels on our land. the town board cannot say "NO". they can delay for a bit, have meetings, protest, write letters, hire lawyers, whatever doesn't matter. they are covering upstate NY farmland with solar panels. a ridiculous endeaver economically, only benefitting the usual suspects. a few of the farmers sell out for big bucks (supposedly) renting the land to these criminals, and it's done. farmers have been beaten down for so long, for many of them it was there only way out. the farmland in my area, like right down the road and all over my small town will be covered in these ridiculous solar panels in a few years.
