Thanks for another terribly accurate and useful work of art, Anne! I featured two of your WHO pieces in the essay I just published:

• “What If They Threw a Pandemic and Nobody Came?” (https://margaretannaalice.substack.com/p/what-if-they-threw-a-pandemic-and)

But if I can't trust Rachel Maddow who can I trust?

Thank you for this. Consider labeling one of the choir members as the current Press Secretary. She’s despicable.

Absolutely.

That she is, and thanks for the suggestion, Cathleen!

Needs labels for the WH press secretary (high turnover position, but still,) and all of the alphabet agencies in the government too.

Great comic though

Thank you, SomeDude! I was thinking of this just for media so I'll see about the government agencies. Will add the press secretary with name and signature hairstyle. Maybe skewer the agencies separately.

Ah, I didn't think about it being all media. I was focused on the pants-on-fire aspect. Makes sense.

These days the government figureheads and spokescritters might as well be actors in the media, it seems. Especially the press secretary position.

I do enjoy your comics. They've got a little bit of bite to them that I appreciate.

Oh, pants on fire! Although I’ve thought of doing something with that idea, it wasn’t what I had in mind this time. I agree, this whole thing is theater! Or more like a horror movie with sequels that’s captivated — and captured — the imagination of those who are falling for the narrative.

So glad you enjoy what I do!

That Conductor has a striking resemblance to Claus Schwab. Or is it Bill Gates? :-)

Right on point with this one....

I left it kind of ambiguous since any one of the sleeze balls strangling the world could be conducting at this particular performance. ;-)

Thank you, Sean!
