I watched it last night. You were great on it. James didn't really emphasize that you are a really excellent illustrator and amazing at getting across the concepts you take up. It was a Solutions Watch episode, so the emphasis was on people doing something about problems. You are a good example of that, but you also happen to be really excellent at drawing engagingly.

I was so pleased for James to introduce us to the Meme Lords and Ladies I adore. I have thousands of screen shots of memes, and they literally kept me somewhat sane in the past few years. Thank you so much. And wouldn't you know it, just the day before I was thinking that I'd been missing the political cartoons which I savored for years through "Funny Times" magazine.
I had to leave that behind when they made fun of restless leg syndrome, for I'd met a lovely woman who had it and explained it's cause to me, which she went through hell learning, while just being put through hell by docs who would make these folks come in every month , pay for appt. to get a prescription so they could sleep.And treat them as if they were drug addicts. No words can describe those white coats
She grew up in the wheat fields of eastern Oregon. Much of US wheat is grown in these areas, Wash. too, and it's all downwind from the Hanford Nuclear Waste disaster. a totally leaking nightmare on the mighty Columbia River.
The wheat is irradiated, her family inadvertently got solid proof of this. HOw? A neighbor came to them one year and told them he'd registered high uranium readings in their fields, and had applied for a mining permit. (Yeah, that' exactly what landowners are like in Oregon,). Some months later, when the inspectors came to confirm the reading, there was no registered radiation.
Why? Crops had been harvested in meanwhile.
I think this is the source of all the gluten harms and all. Wheat grown without this exposure is so much easier to digest.
