A Message to Subscribers who signed up before January 19, 2022
A quick note to let you know that I began posting Anne Can't Stand It! via Substack rather than Mailchimp on January 19th. I mentioned this in a note below the cartoon I posted on that day, so you may have missed it. I switched because Substack makes it possible to comment on the cartoons and to share on social media. In addition, there are several Substack writers whose work I love. Margaret Anna Alice, Tessa Lena, Mark Crispin Miller, Celia Farber, Jessica Rose and CJ Hopkins come to mind, and there are many others. It's a treasure trove!
About today’s post
Anyone who participated in the movement against Vietnam War in the 1960’s-early 1970’s will most likely recognize that it was inspired by the iconic graphic created by artist Lorraine Schneider that became a symbol for the anti-war movement. For those of you who don’t go back that far, here is a photo of the original etching:

Just a reminder, next month is the 2 year anniversary of "2 weeks to flatten the curve".
I love these sentiments. How long has it been since Lorraine Schneider's cartoon and yet notice how nothing has been done about wars? Nothing. But there have been massive strides in surveillance and frequency technologies which are just smokescreens for weapons. So much development of weapons but never the money for cleaning the environment or people's health. It's so stark. They've had enough time, the government is a waste of space and in fact, keep us back.
