I knew that things were happening in Sri Lanka -- such as the overthrow of the government -- but I didn't realize that Sri Lankan farmers had been subjected to this grotesquerie. I had a Sri Lankan penpal, but both of us had our last letters returned to us because "no such address." We had been writing to each other at that point for 19 years at the same addresses. I know exactly who was opening and returning our mail, our beloved USG.
Vandana Shiva never supported the "green revolution." And somehow I can't imagine the family that ruled Sri Lanka and has been overthrown having anything to do with her.

What the Dutch farmers are dealing with is even worse than, say, the brutality of Fudeau's response to the truckers in Canada. It's the insidious meddling in Dutch governance by NGOs who are aiming for the the total destruction of all life on the planet. No other way to sum up succinctly. They're going for Dutch farming first because it was such a model of success following the Nazi era starve-out.
Let them (the Dutch people and all of us non-WEFers everywhere) eat!
The WEF has become irrelevant just as the West is failing to lead anywhere but over the left cliff. Godless society dependent upon faith, fails. Popcorn time, yes.
