They can make fun of me and deride my ideas, but when they do that, they're entertaining them. A little seed of sorts. How do any of us arrive at a place where we realize how bamboozled we've been? It takes a while, and of course, some people can't ever go there. It's just too hard to take in. Upsets the apple cart too much.
Just remembered something I learned about how to introduce challenging ideas to people, and that's to have them come through a third party. Happy to play that role for you!
An idea for a similar style cartoon. 2024 will make the 2020 Election Year look like a case of the sniffles. There are so many dire threats to Western Civilization that could be triggered in 2024, from Disease X , Nuclear War, Cyber Pandemic, Power Grid Failure, Major Terrorist Attacks to Failure of our Financial System. I wrote a narrative about to share with clueless friends and family but, your cartoon is very effective.
They're always great, Anne, but this one hurts more than the others. It's hitting too close for me today. Of course, I'm not in a real great mood tonight, so it's probably just me.
